Swimming is the nation's biggest participation sport and it's easy to see why. It is the ideal activity to work all the muscles in your body.
It provides an excellent cardio-vascular workout and is the ideal warm up or cool down to start or complete your fitness workout.
Swimming is less stressful on joints and muscles than other forms of exercise, boosting stamina and suppleness. It is in the perfect addition to your fitness programme invigorating and relaxing mind and body.
- Is great fun
- Is an activity for all ages
- Is a life skill that can save lives
- Is accessible for some people for whom other forms of physical activity are difficult - those with mobility problems for example and those who want low impact exercise
- Encompasses a wide range of activities (fun sessions, Aquafit, water circuits, synchro, water polo to name a few)
- Is a gateway to all aquatic sports; rowing, surfing, sailing & scuba diving.

Waiting times for those already on the waiting list is between 12 and 18 months and these applications will be dealt with in strict application date order as places become available. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We are still accepting applications for all adult lessons and all junior Stages from 6 upwards, the waiting list card and medical form can be downloaded, printed, completed and scanned back to the Swim Vision email address email@example.com or handed in to the leisure centre. New Top Up Payment System!
Swim Vision has taken on some exciting new changes which will be of benefit to every swimmer in the scheme! There will no longer be fixed 12 week courses, the programme will now run continuously over 48 weeks of the year. This now means that as soon as a swimmer is ready to move to the next level they will be notified and moved rather than having to wait until the end of the 12 week course.
This allows the swimmer to benefit from the next class level immediately and in turn opens up places to swimmers on the waiting list, a rolling programme of this nature therefore means that children get the opportunity to take up a place quicker now than ever before in Redbridge. Currently you will be notified by the swim vision team usually by phone and a new mutually convenient lesson time will be arranged with you.
The new system has eliminated the need for rebooking forms as the programme is continuous, to remain on the scheme all you need to do is keep your swimming lesson subscription topped up, subscriptions can be purchased in 10 week continuous blocks, you can top up your swimmers account at any time at the reception desk or over the phone on 020 8550 2366 ext 100. If you provide us with your email address we will ensure you are sent email reminders 3, 2 and 1 week before your subscription is due to expire. Please ensure you top up before your subscription expires otherwise you will be automatically removed from the scheme and your place is no longer guaranteed.
Got a question? Please feel free to email the swim vision team at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Waiting List Card can be downloaded and filled in from this link.
Once you have filled in the waiting card and medical form could you please send them to svfullwell@vision
